I was checking out the prop bets on sportsbetting.com and happened to notice something interesting. On the prop "Will the final score be even or odd", almost all of the games have even posted at -165 and odd posted at +115. My question is, shouldn't there be basically an even mix of both odd and even total games?? Why would they offer plus money on one side?? Does anyone know where I could possibly pull stats to see why they obviously think the even side hits more often??

Thanks!

The odd final total is more prevalent because of the 1 run game possibility, which happens about 1/3rd of the time, so its definitely not a 50/50 chance.
1-0
2-1
3-2
4-3
5-4
6-5
7-6 etc.

Wow, haha, can't believe I didn't notice that. It makes a lot of sense. Guess if it looks to good to be true, chances are it is!

"ODD" Total went 11-4
