Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are teaming up together on the Miami Heat, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

Whether LeBron James, the kingpin of this summer's celebrated free agent class, will join them remains to be seen. James will announce his decision Thursday night at 9 ET during a one-hour special on ESPN.
Wade and Bosh are expected to announce their decision on Wednesday, according to the source.
James or not, the Heat could emerge as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference with Wade and Bosh aboard. Wade, who led the Heat to the NBA title in 2006, is re-signing with the club, while Bosh will leave the Toronto Raptors after seven years with the club.
Both players are expected to get the maximum amount allowable under the league's collective bargaining agreement, though the addition of James could change the players' salaries. Contracts cannot be officially signed until July 8.
It was not immediately clear whether Bosh will sign with Miami outright or join the Heat through a sign-and-trade deal. Bosh could earn $125 million over six years via sign-and-trade, but only $96 million over five without it.
"Either way, he's definitely going to Miami," the source said.
Chris Broussard is an NBA writer for ESPN The Magazine.

Clear indication lebron is heading back to cleveland and I knew all along lebron wasn't paying any attention to what those guys were gonna do even though wade and bosh talked about it a lot as if it were a 3 way group decision

So the only difference in Bosh signing with Miami is 1.633 million and an additional year. Doesn't he make that up by signing with a team in Florida.

Also, why would players want to sign to play in Canada, they paying much more in taxes?

It says "sources" told Brousard that. However, it is now front page on ESPN and they don't really put anything front page unless they know its official. So Bosh to Miami basically official. I think you'll really start seeing the free agent dominoes fall in the next 2-3 days now with Wade/Bosh/LeBron signed up in the next 36 hours or whatever.

I think it's a great move by the Heat & great for both Wade & Bosh. The Knicks have to be pissed because this is what they wanted as a 2nd best to landing Lebron.

It'll be interesting to see what happens now.

A. LeBron goes there and its all over (doubtful, although this is the only place he'll go besides Cle now)
B. They gotta fillout the rest of their team. Only got 4 guys on their roster right now....

I really don't think bosh is enough to make Miami contenders, but if LeBron stays in Cleveland and stuck with that same team again, I hope Wade&Bosh kick LeBrons azz in their matchups and in the East for LeBron's own stupidity getting himself right back in the same piss-poor situation...

Why would Lebron go back to Cleveland with the same team that hes gotten bounced out of the playoffs for every yeaR? I would think he'd want to go to NYC with another MAX guy and try and win a championship.

I would think he'd want to go somewhere with young talent that hasn't yet received the max as well as another FA. Unless he wants to joint them in Miami that best option would be Chicago along with Boozer to join Rose, Noah and Deng. But I think all along he doesn't want to leave Cleveland.

dwade is a hypocrite with 2bad knees and a loser. his dad left him as a kid, his wife left him, hes getting sued in miami for 25mil. if chris bosh isnt doing a sign and trade than he is a dumb fuck for listing to that loser and going to hell hole miami. the heat had a playoff team and had to put curtians up in the upper deck because nobody goes to thoose shit games. If LBJ doesnt land there take that TT under wade will miss atleast 20 games and bosh will be stuck on a team worse than the raptors shit with a healty wade your looking at 45-48 wins max.

I think it means hes going to the Knicks. of course totally homer opinion tho. that makes Miami and the eastern conference that much tougher....so Lebron is going back to the same team he has not won with yet and thinks he is going to win with now with even steeper competition?? I dont think so...hes going to the Knicks to play with Amare and possibly even Melo next year as the Knicks will have even more cap space freed up.

everything I've read says Bosh is absolutely adamant about signing for the max contract so he wants a sign and trade deal. (Personally as a Raps fan I don't think he's worth near the max at all) I would be sad if it was the old Chris Bosh leaving the Raps, but this new Chris Bosh we've seen over the last season... good riddance... hope you fall flat on your face in Miami.

Watching Chris Bosh in that interview on ESPN, he deserves an academy award for this whole free agent fiasco. I want to see if his pussy personality will win them some games in the playoffs, or will he wither away like Vince Carter always does. Congrats Wade, you have a soft center on your hands that understands the matador defense.
