Give me the NBA stars of the 1980's in terms of talent and class. They would wipe the floor with these arrogant jerks. Hour long special for a guy who has never won a title. Please! ESPN and David Stern are making this league look like Pro Wrestling.

david stern is stealing all the headlines from world cup, offseason nfl and the upcoming all star game in mlb.

espn is manufacturing news from a dead spot in the sports year.

thats what they are supposed to do isnt it?

an entire decade worth compared to one single moment will always win

But there have been some all-time greats over the past 10 full years: O'Neal, Garnett, Duncan, Bryant, James

I could understand from a marketing perspective that going on Sportscenter to make an announcement and answer questions might be realistic...but an hour long "special". His ego is out of control and ESPN and Stern are just feeding the beast. I am old school and I know that James is a great player no doubt, but after this drama I will be rooting against his success in getting a championship.

understand completely bran, hard to fault stern for wanting his league to be front and center though and espn for manufacturing news in the league they are most heavily invested in.

I'm not so sure he wants to win. I think he cares more about individual stats. He is #110 in career NBA points scored already.
