Are the brewers this bad? Right handed Braun rested vs a lefty? Still trying to win games?

7 guys reach on walk or singles thru 3 inning and giants give up zero runs .... They don't even need benefit of double play or caught stealing or anything unconventional to escape....

Being a lifetime Giants fan and following them closely each year, they have had their moments when they put great starting pitching together with good hitting. The problem is trying know just when to play them and when to play against them and it isn't easy. As for this series with the Brewers, I'd say it is more about Milwaukee pitching poorly and playing bad fundamental baseball. JMO

With the exception of yesterday's thumping, the Brewers basically gift wrapped the other games with piss poor defense and horrible situational hitting.

Classless move by Bochy lifting Zito out in the bottom of the 5th while leading 6-1 with 2 outs and bases loaded. Zito pissed when he left.

Wild bautista 4 pitch walk...6-2... Imagine if the 2 nd and 3 rd hitter axtually didn't strike out.... Brewers have like .400 on base % for game... Little to show for it

3 walks and a leadoff double...3 strikeouts... Truly a bizarre game from brewers standpoint

Ok- I did the math...14 of 30 brewers plate appearances resulted in single double or walk and scored 2 runs thru 5.....whip of 2.90.... Average MLB whip is like 1.4......

Milwaukee on base % is about .466 for the game....

I can't recall a half game being played this way in recent memory and not resulting in a big crooked numberat least once....

For anyone who knows what whip stands for and can discern what a decent batting average or on base % is those numbers are astounding and defy law of averages even for a short period of time like 5 innings

Brewers: 26 LOB through 5 innings.

I still have a weird feeling they aren't out of this game yet.
