Geeze can we make this banner smaller and cut back on the graphics? Why is everything so spaced out now? LAME

Maybe you missed the Memo......This happens to be a work in process
We said back over a month ago it will take time to get everything in order. Which over the past few weeks, Tech support has been working on things.

Today, the New Header was put up...and each day they will be working on other tools and Templates .

i don't care how it looks, as the black text of the posts looks the same to me... but the link to get from inside a thread back to the forum seems to be gone from the top of the thread? I see it at the bottom, but it'd be nice to get it back up at the top of the thread as well.

at work I see a huge space above every single post in a thread, on my home laptop this doesnt happen. Anybody know what causes that?

I think the idea for to have it on the Bottom is, if you are Reading the Thread...when you are Finished or after you Post a reply..The link is right there. So no need to scroll to the Top again.

yeah, i get that - just liked it up top too... and it's such a small element, figured they could have it in both spots. but i know they can't please everyone, and do appreciate the job they're doing.

Quite possibly different browsers are viewing this Offshore Forum differently. Right now for me on both IE8 and Google Chrome the threads are tightly spaced and all of the text in each post is at the top and easily viewed.

Regarding the Header, as far as I know that is now a permanent fixture displaying our sponsor's banners. I don't foresee a lot change in that area. Our main concern is the posting area itself which like I said right now is tight and similar to what it always has been.

The thread jump at the bottom IMO is an improvement as it saves having to return to the top of a thread to exit it. However that may be something where we can create a jump in both spots - top and bottom. Will know in time.
