got his new cd.. He is the best rapper today hands down. Jay z is not even close or Little Wayne. Recovery is right up the with the Slim Shady Lp...

Em is at the top of the rap game along with lil wayne and drake. I'm not a huge fan of today's rap with the exception of em, I think rap has been on a decline since the 90s. I still get down with bone thugs though, their flow can not be touched.

I saw him perform on Jimmy Fallon (His show is quite good these days BTW) the other night and he was amazing.

Very solid performance and very entertaining

Have a friend that live two door down from him...his girl plays with his girl...I have a cd he did in the early years that did not go out...one song would be a hit...for sure
he the best!

Just downloading the RECOVERY CD....all i can say is wow. Usually when you get a cd, you're lucky to get 2 or 3 songs that are good.....This cd has like 7 so far and im just 1/2 through listening to it. The song "no love" with lil wayne is off the charts good.

Jay-Z is good but I don't think he's anywhere close to the top no matter how many times he says he is in his songs. I don't like his flow. Beats are always top notch. Not for me.

Eminem is a great rapper, among the best in the history of the rap game. But if you compare his body of work to Nas, Talib Kweli, Common, and Outkast, I think they come out ahead. Maybe not in terms of record sales, but in terms of the quality of the music

I agree...OUTKAST was putting out cd's way ahead of their time. Their beats and lyrics have always been top notch. Seems like every cd they had, there were at least 5-6 great songs on them.

Never liked NAS that much...seemed like he always had a grudge against everyone and is basically just pissed at other rappers (but arent they all)
