Any casino players welcome to answer this question. (Not online casino) I was just wondering if you guys had a percentage up or some other goal in mind when you went into the casino and if you hit that point walk away?

Go with a reasonable goal for the amount that you play. When you hit it, call it quits. Play around for very small amounts and relax for the rest of the trip. Don't be greedy or play for the comps. That's what's worked for me.

Much easier to walk away at a real casino than an online casino, that's for sure.

I suppose when you walk away depends on how big or small a player you are.

The first time I played craps in Vegas ( I practiced online) I won $600.
That was within a 2 hour time frame, and I was up a little more, but once things started turning around, it wasn't too hard for me to walk away.

Stick by my hard and fast rule. Start with $100 and stay until I lose it or win $100,000. Have never stayed long.

I usually try to triple my money. Usually take $500 and walk if I hit $1500.

Or sometimes, even if I'm just hovering around even for a long time, I can tell it's just not my night and will take off anyway.

Playing for comps will bury you.

If you are playing a +EV game, no reason to walk away other than fatigue

If I have a good run on a blackjack table I color up some black chips and put them in my pocket and keep a few bets to see if the run continues. And if if does continue to keep putting chips in my pocket. When I loose them I leave.
