Report: Suns on verge of making two big trades

It's not quite Chris Bosh and LeBron James, but the Suns are reportedly on the verge of adding two important pieces to the roster in the wake of losing Amar'e Stoudemire.

The team is on the verge of working out deals for Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress, according to The Arizona Republic.

The Suns would send Leandro Barbosa and Dwayne Jones to Toronto as part of a three-team deal, also including the Bobcats, to land Turkoglu.

Meanwhile, the team would also land the rights to Childress by sending the Hawks a second-round pick in next year's draft. Childress played in Greece last year, but the Hawks maintained his NBA rights.

The Suns lost Stoudemire in free agency when the power forward signed a $100 million deal with the Knicks.

Suns not going to miss Amare? get Turkoglu, Childress, Warrick.

I really don't think the Suns will miss a beat with out Amare. Personally I love Hakim Warrick and I think you will see him have a break out season with Nash dishing to him.

Adding Turkoglu to the mix is huge as well, factor in Childress and the now more experienced very talented Suns bench,think you will see them right back in the Conference Finals.

Raps will be happy to get rid of Turk's contract, he was a cancer by the end of the season and still has 4 more years on that big contract they signed him to. Hopefully he smartens up going to play with Nash. Nash said on Twitter he is sad to see his buddy Barbosa go, and that he's now the only guy left from the 04-07 teams. Looks like GM Coangelo in Toronto is bringing in a couple of his old Phoenix players, not only Barbosa but strong rumours he will trade Calderone and Dwayne Jones for Tyson Chandler and former Sun Boris Diaw.
