HR Derby was way too drawn out last night, especially Hanley Ramirez taking way too many pitches in second round.

Couple suggestions:

1) How about having a machine throw to players?

2) Have an umpire behind the plate and call strikes..

I think the pitching machine will give more accurate results. Some of those tossers out there were really inaccurate.

Secondly, Chris Berman needs to stay away from the sport of baseball. His "back, back, back" made me want to choke him

Viking,

All you need to do to Post a YouTube Video is, Copy the embed code in full, post in the Thread at Go Advanced

and just paste the code in the Body of the Post.

Just like you would do to post a story or answer a question.

*** I do know that the "Old way " was in Quick Reply...and After the Upgrade, you needed to use the "Insert Video" link.

But as of right now, just use the "Go Advanced" or when you start a New Thread...
post it in the Body of the Post.

Hope that Helps

a couple of things. pitching machines don't throw the ball perfectly every time either. Especially if you're putting real baseballs through them insted of the intended jugs balls. secong i highly doubt pros would want to use a machine because it is a different look then a real pitcher and alot of players already cry about how they dont want to be in the derby because it messes up their swing. they will certainly say that a machine would mess up their timing. Also while the aluminum bat thing would be cool to watch none of them would want to use that either because the bat is weighted different. And you would be surprised to know that if you hit a pro model bat on the sweet spot the ball probably flies close to as far as an aluminum bat would. Its just the sweet spot on a real wood bat is way smaller than an aluminum bat.
