Is there a way we can mark threads with 365+ days between posts

I notice there are always threads bumped for many reasons...usually relevant recent info or to prove someone right/wrong......

but it can be confusing when we think it is a new thread and everyone's thoughts/comments are fresh.

Is there a way to signal to us that it is an old thread being bumped (i.e. maybe a *365+* or something added to the title automatically so we know to pay attention to dates on the posts within the thread)

I don't know vbulletin or if this is possible, but a site that has been around for as long as this one has might find a feature like this useful.

FYI, i am by no means requesting mods manually change thread title....simply wondering if there is an option in the software

Pretty good idea if possible.I think we have all been caught off guard with this type of situation,a time or two.

There is really only one principle culprit who bumps these old threads and I try to edit the title as a warning when I see them but don't catch them all. I have fallen for the same trap as you guys have. Opening a thread thinking the title was based on recent events only to at some point noticing the thread was originally posted in 2005.

Right now with an important Tech procedure on the docket for late tonight until tomorrow morning/afternoon it is a bad time to lay something like this on Tech Support. I will check as to feasibility of somehow marking old threads that are bumped with a marker of some sort in a day or two.

thanks wil, no rush on this....i was just wondering if it is even at all possible....

and I don't mind threads continually updated (like the replica watch thread).....it is the ones where the gap in posts is ridiculous....(i.e. 365+ days)
