Some say neuclear testing indirectly killed John Wayne.
(and Agnes Moorehead and Susan Heyward)

They were filming a movie near Vegas when A-Bomb testing was going on, all three of them got cancer linked to the testing.

There was talk that they might have to nuke that leaking oil to collapse that weel.

oh yeah I heard about that once on TV. It seriously sounded legit and true. The later USA tests were underground, but not in the 50's. I truly was shocked they were still shooting off nukes in Nevada in the 80's and 90's. I thought that was a 1950's thing.

pretty amazing we are still alive if you watch that link.
