Just some thoughts on Tonights matchups:
Large Plays: Pittsburgh, Arizona and La Dodgers
Medium Plays: Baltimore, Under Red Sox
Small Plays: Milwaukee
The Dodgers didn't show up at all vs Carpenter last night and I expect a max performance with Billingsley.
Romero hasn't had too much success vs the Orioles and a number of them have hit him well. Granted last two performances were against Bos and NY. However, he has not looked right. The over may be a small play as well.
The Sox throw a lefty at the Rangers who they have not seen. The Sox put out a lineup full of bandaids. Their is no fluency within this lineup now and with a clubhouse in a bit of disarray I could see the game staying under and close. A complete bullpen with the sox helps out.
I know Hanson has had a successful year and Wolf has not had success holding an 8 ERA vs the Braves but Wolf has put 3 quality starts together and Hanson has been hit a bit of late and only holds 4 of 9 quality starts at home. His record is a bit deceiving from my point of view. I'm hoping the market keeps pushing the Braves and allows me to put some stock into the Brew Crew.
