had a 3.6 magnitude earthquake this morning here in Maryland. The epicenter was about a mile or 2 away from where i live. Needless to say not use to having earthquakes out here. Woke up at 5am to a sound of what i thought was a boom and my bed shaking. Thought a condo unit had an explosion or a car had driven into the building. I looked out my window and opened my door to see my dog knocked out on the couch and thought maybe it was just dreaming so i went back to bed. Sure enough when i got up around 7, thats all the news was talking about

That's the problem with eathquakes in the midwest and east. They travel a greater distance than they do out west. 3.6's we don't even feel.
