ive been contemplating this over since the all star break....just dont think halladay will be sharp, and the trend of unders on espn must end....in addition the last few days of lack of offense really sets this under up nice......going with the over

:think2: Well Zeke! Not sure I follow your logic here or whether you are playing the Over or Under, but best of luck whatever you decide tonight! :toast:

IE ...subscribing to theory...."under looks too easy" cant be true......over 7.5 for me

do u recall the sunday night espn game involving the cubs the last day before the all star break?

total was also 7.5.......7 runs scored in first 3 inn....not another run scored, and cubs mysteriously dont tag up on mid depth sac fly in top of 9th with runner on 3rd to score the decisive 8th run......odd they didnt try to get on board there....for people who wager the sunday nite game every week....im sure this stick in their craw a bit, and dont wanna be duped a second time.......its practically identical situation

kansas city shuffle.....zig when they zag, zag when they zig.....capeche?

lol

Best of luck as the wind does seem to be blowing out right now. BUT, Halladay is Halladay and Gorzo has flown under the radar a bit, averaging over a K per inning and the Cubs have won his last two starts (both on the road). The Cubs also won a 4-1 decision at Philly the last time he started against them.

Wishing you the best as I never do well when I go against OMT.

Thanks OMT. I am on this with you. I've been at a golf tourney all day until now, so it's my only play of the day. Let's hit it!

Just wondering if you're factoring in the wind? Heard its blowing out to center/right at 17mph with gusts up to 25mph.

SportsOptions is currently reporting that tonight's game conditions will be mostly fair, wind from left to right at 5-10 mph, 82 degrees and 71% relatively humidity.

We finished 7 under, but were 7 under after 13 and took a bogey on a par five. I was playing with three guys who don't play much golf. I birdied two holes by myself. The steak and clam dinner afterward was amazing though!

Injury Update

SportsOptions reporting second basemen Chase Utley is out with a thumb injury and left fielder Raul Ibanez is out for rest.

Lineups indicate Wilson Valdez is starting at second base and Ben Francisco is playing left field

I use to play. Self taught. A hacker with a 16 handicap. Sounds like you played very well and that clam dinner sure sounds good. Haven't had a good bucket in a long time.
