Do you ever lie when you go to the movies, and how much do you think it costs a given movie?

About to head out to see inception and it got me thinking. Im going with a buddy to the afternoon show and i have coupons from some book i bought to support some local charity where the movie tickets are like $6 instead of $9, but not valid for new movies. So ill buy a ticket to something older and then just go into inception. Wondering how many others do these types of things or how much you think a possible R rated movies loses by underage kids buying tickets to another movie and sneaking into the R rated movie they really want to see.

Come on Kidman, I don't even think George Costanza would do that to save three bucks.
Cough it up dude.

Maybe if I was 14 and I wanted to see an 'R' 17 year old picture, but that's another story.
Pony up the extra three bux man, it won't hurt, I promise.

Kidman, I'm not the type to go to the movies at all, way too expensive. But to be honest I'd of paid $20 to see Inception. It was great. I probably will end up spending $20+ because I'd like to go see it again

Did several Triple Features like the Bourne Trilogy. Longest probably was the premiere of "Alien vs Predator" (horrible movie): Quadraple Feature with Alien 1-4 followed by Alien vs Predator...worst part: Alien 4 already was bad, but AvP was even worse, so the whole thing really dragged on...

Have done that many times, and although it may seem a bit dishonet, trust me, I give them bundles back in Concesssions because I'm not one of those who goes into a movie and sits through it without drinks & snacks.
And keep in mind, the theaters don't really make anything off of the tickets.
Their bread&butter comes from concessions.....

Always pay the full price for a ticket, but always bring my own soda and candy. Disneyworld doesn't even charge what they do for a Coke...last time was 11.00 for a small drink and small popcorn. F'n ridiculous.

when i was a kid we would sneak into the movies all the time! One way was to just wait by the exit and walk in the one way door when someone left, another way was for one person to buy a ticket, and then they would walk to the back of the theater and open the door and let everyone else in.
