Philly has gone in the tank. They've given up. It's pathetic! They have the 4th highest payroll in baseball. They end the first half w/ a sweep of (at the time) division leading Cincy....then lose 3 of 4 to a 39-51 Cubs team (and the only win was due to a 4 run 9th inning).

Their bats have completely died and their pitching is inconsistant...sure, they have some injuries....but for the most part, it's pathetic.

Viejo, I'm a Philly fan! Going to Phillies/Nats next Friday night....and then 3 game series in Philly vs. Mets (Aug 6-8). I'm disgusted with this overpaid team! Especially Lidge!!

I made mention of how this could've worked out having both lee and halladay at the trade deadline last year. Then they had another chance in the off season. Boggles my mind why they wouldn't want both Halladay and Lee....
