I have to generally do the mini vacations, sucks. I would like to take a nice extended one. Mini ones are great for gambling trips, but real vactions, you need longer than 4 days.
give me the 5 mini vacations. thats what i did last year, sarasota, atlanta, vegas, chicago, sarasota. three weeks is too long for me, i get too antsy. ten days in europe was long enough for me
I take 2 week long ones a year, always in the summer at my families cottage.
Just had my 2nd child which limits from going anywhere now via airplane. Got to keep my other 10 vacation days for child care/illness emergencies.
Take multiple short vacations each year where I end up earning much more than I would have at work. No way would I pass up those chances just to spend a lot of money somewhere

How about a 10-day and three of 3-4 days? 3 weeks straight is kinda long. Just can't get away from it all for that long and feel right. I'd say 9 or 10 days is good.
I can get away for a weekend, the extra day or 2 would be nice but it'd be a bonus, i'd rather have the 3 weeker, let my brain recharge and actually get to explore where I'm going.
if you are doing vegas or whistler or disneyland or hawaii, the mini vacations are perfect.
if you are doing a europe or asia multi-country tour, you want to spend the 3 weeks there cause there is too much to see in a short time....especially when traveling so far (and spending so much money)
