im reading an incredible book right now. real eye opener.

its called "the fix" by declan hill... its about soccer and oorganized crime. you would be shocked to hear what high profile games have been swayed and had their results "sculpted" lets say. how many ppl have been killed. and how many players, refs and families are killed in the smaller leagues in asia and eastern europe. even such high profile leagues and games have been fixed. its an incredible book. over 80% of games are fixed in some smaller leagues.

Why do you think there are low limits on these games?

I really think the NBA is fixed.

I never thought College Basketball was fixed until I saw the end of that Duke game last year when The Duke player walked about 5 steps and the officials did not call a thing in a tight game.

I'll go with

B: Yes, but it's very rare

We've all heard the saying that the NBA is about 85% real and 15% "show." I do think fixing is a much bigger problem on other continents. In the U.S. I definitely think it's a rare occurence.

I agree with the bold. While we have tons of corruption here, we look like saints compared to others.

Yes, I believe in "fixed" games...but as for NBA, MLB, NFL etc. those fixed games are few and far between. In smaller, local sports it is far more common. I think we are more often than not the victim of terrible beats that simply looked fixed.
