im reading an incredible book right now. real eye opener.
its called "the fix" by declan hill... its about soccer and oorganized crime. you would be shocked to hear what high profile games have been swayed and had their results "sculpted" lets say. how many ppl have been killed. and how many players, refs and families are killed in the smaller leagues in asia and eastern europe. even such high profile leagues and games have been fixed. its an incredible book. over 80% of games are fixed in some smaller leagues.

We've all heard the saying that the NBA is about 85% real and 15% "show." I do think fixing is a much bigger problem on other continents. In the U.S. I definitely think it's a rare occurence.
