Looking to rebound from that crazy game in Baltimore last night. Nuh Said!
I like the pitching matchup in favor of the Braves. Garland has been pretty decent of late, but doesn't have very good numbers against the Braves....Hanson on the other hand seems to fair pretty well against the West leading Pads. Throw in the fact that the Braves are starting to get healthy and I just think by the end of the night the Braves will out slug the Pads lineup.

GL tonight man...that one stung pretty bad last night. managed to squeeze a profit out of yesterday but it could have been much better.

ATL did it for me yesterday...thinking of riding them today.

Jon Garland, meet my friend "a challenge." Garland is 0-2 against the Braves lifetime with an ERA of, yikes, 14.04. That's bad. Eric Hinske has hit him hard, Omar Infante has hit him harder; Troy Glaus has a few homers off Garland, too. He hasn't faced them all too recently, but the history is there, and I can't imagine this is a ballpark or a team he's excited to face. Hanson, 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA against the Padres, beat them 6-1 back in early April, but really hasn't dominated anyone this month despite pitching slightly better than he did in June. It might be a tad on the expensive side to get behind Hanson, though both bullpens can carry a decent load, and I don't expect either starter to really go too deep in the game.

Yeah I basically see this coming down to the bats and the Braves should be able to do more damage.

His 2nd and 3rd innings always shaky then he settles in, problem is he has thrown 65+ pitches through 3. Braves need to hit and score to take pressure off him from thinking he has to make perfect pitches.

Wow went to take a shit and came back and its 4-2. Scoring 4 runs off 2 outs when no one was on the base is really impressive I must say.
