He just came off the DL today. What the hell did you expect :think2: Also, he leads the American league in walks(Gio Gonzalez is second) and this Red Sox lineup is a joke. I'm just curious as to why you would take the Red Sox in this spot? They could still win, but the wrong team was favored when you take everything into account. Great close on Oakland too.

didn't play this game, but Adrian Beltre is the best player on the Red Sox this year, not as good as the 2004 Adrian Beltre with the Dodgers, but his best year in 6 years, I'm thinking he wants another big contract again LOL, this guy is a master of putting up big numbers when he needs too, juiced? if he is then he is smart enough to pick his spots to minimize long-term damage

Within 30 minutes after posting this, Beltre homers again. Best year for him since 2004. Didn't play this game, but as you can tell I'm a big Adrian Beltre fan due to that magical 2004 year.

And they(the Red Sox) thought they were just getting defense. Contract years and getting out of Safeco, really go a long way. I love the way Beltre swings.

BTW, still waiting to hear from someone why you would play the Sox in this spot :think2:
