I have prepaid phones with both. Verizon works everywhere. Att does not. My personal cell is verizon. I used to be a big nextel person. Used that 2 way radio all the time. When i moved to the house i live in now, nextel would not work there. Actually no cell phone would work there except verizon and it picks up like there is a tower in my front yard. No i don't work for verizon.
Do you think that the Verizon system is going to slow down alot now that these Android phones are flooding their network? I think Verizon is about to go through the problems that At&t is just coming out of. Iphone users are sending way too much data over att network, which I believe is slowing it down. I'm still up in the air as to which carrier i'm going to switch to but leaning towards At&t. I've never had Verizon wireless, but they're home phone and internet were terrible. Not to mention Verzion are liars!
My contract is up with verizon also.I have been looking at new options.I think i as going with t-mobile...I have a family plan using 3 phones.
T -mobile plan with unlimited tex and shared 1500 mins..is only $104 not counting taxes.
Almost 50% less than i pay now.Plus they offered me 3 new phones with a 2 year contract

Verizon man by far and away as the service for calls is 2nd to none. I was a sprint man for years then I moved to Verizon and haven't looked back.
Agree with BGO however that they cost more. Works for me however since my business covers it (yes, I'm paying for it myself anyway) and we've got multiple phones that are used a TON for work for both myself and a few employees.
