I love the Pirates right now. This could change depending on the close and we have a long way to go for that.

Current leans in this game:

Pitt RL
Pitt ML
Under

Now, how about some thoughts (<)<

I have large parlay with brew -160 as last leg

nats+160
braves -154

it pays about 5.25/1

I have quite a bit on it...

The basics

gallardo 8-4
ohlendorf 1-7

gallardos era is 2 full runs lower. Despite the last 2 days performance- the brewers have the better offense. If u bet the pirates u are relying on guys like Neil walker Pedro Alvarez and Jose tabata to have those offensive games off gallardo. He is a very different animal than Randy wolf and Dave bush.

The brewers should continue to hit off ohlendorf- not sure u can expect the same off gallardo- he has good stuff unlike the last 2 pitchers who pitch to contact

Yovani is sick in night games.

6-0 with 1.57 era

Pitt's bats have been hot. This is a tough one.

Line has dropped slightly from the opener with most people on MIL.

This is Yovani's first outing back from injury right?

Personally I think it is Brewers or no play. They also do very well in the Pirates house.

I am a great fade right now Zeke, so if I do play the Pirates, you most likely will win your parlay. BOL and thanks for the input.

Injury Update

SportsOptions indicating RF Corey Hart (rest) and 3B Casey McGehee (rest) are out of the starting line-up for the Brewers and RF Andrew McCutchen (shoulder) and C Ryan Doumit (concussion) are out of the starting line-up for the Pirates.

Notes

Facing Pittsburgh in his return may be ideal for Gallardo as he tries to give the Brewers (43-53) a reliable starter. He's 5-1 with a 2.00 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 54 innings over nine starts against the Pirates. Gallardo beat them twice in a five-day span in April before Alvarez was called up from the minors, allowing only two unearned runs and fanning 14 in 11 innings.

Ohlendorf has a 2.25 ERA while winning both of his home starts against the Brewers.
