Minnesota @ Baltimore

Spread : -150 Over/Under 9
Gametime: 7:10
So lets say that Millwood is facing Pavano and both are going in opposite directions. Pavano has pitched well over Last 7 pitching 6 plus in all of them with a 2.82 ERA. He’s held most of the Baltimore hitters under .250 except for Patterson .588, Tejada .625, and Markakis .375. He’s 7-3 at night and 6 of 9 with Quality Starts on the road. He’s picked up his career. The Twins are 24-25 on the road. Baltimore throws Kevin Millwood who is on the way down and the only place left is Pittsburgh or Seattle. His Last 7 he has a 9.89 Era. His last 7 only 1 quality start. Out of his home starts he’s 33%. The Twins lineup is 51-133 for a whopping average of .383 compared to the Orioles lineup who’ll hit .279 off of Pavano. Baltimore has Scott back and Wiggington is showing some trade value. They will hit and have upside. With Roberts out and Wieters on DL the bottom of lineup is really lacking. Thome will pinch hit tonight as he’s 6-10 vs. Millwood with 3 HR’s. The line opened as Minnesota as a 155 favorite and dropped down to 144 at some places. The over/under is holding steady at 9. I’m looking at playing Minnesota and the over. I believe there will be runs scored and the Twins will be on the right side. I do not know the umpire for the game.
Gekko’s Recommendation:

I’m against the market here. I know they’ve played the Rays tough but the averages against Millwood really make me want to play it strong here. I’m going to play it for an upper medium play with a medium play on the Over 9.

Just some other thoughts:
Out of Gallardo's 18 starts he's only allowed more than 4 er 4 times. He's a great pitcher when he's on. After the drubbing yesterday I expect him to bear down on these Bucs. They are killing the ball but the over under hasn't moved too much all day. Ohlendhorf has held his own against the big hitters of the brewers as well. This is why I backed the Brewers with the Under.
Cliff Lee is good. Texas is hitting and at home. I like RL and Texas ML all over the place.
San Fran just got shut out agains a must win Dodger team. It was a great series.. Cain hasn't looked himself, that is why I also put some money on the over. He's held the DBacks pretty well over his career but he's obviously not playing well. L 7 2-4 with a 5.65 ERA but 2-1 with 3.69 ERA vs DBacks. My play comes against Lopez who is 3-4 with a 5.24 ERA and 0-1 with a 8.16 ERA vs the Giants. The lineup expected against Lopez should be about 340 plus. Sandoval is 3 for 5 against him and Sanchez, Velez are perfect. I expect a high scoring 7-4 type of game for a Giant win.
