When is something going to be done about this atrocious MLB umpiring?

I'm a Yankee fan, so this is not sour grapes.

Yankee game versus Royals, first inning, top of the first Betimit singles down the line, scoring Billy Butler, Betimit trying to go to second on the throw to the plate is called out, when clearly beat the throw, then to add insult to injury, Guiellen who was on second crossed the plate for the third run of the inning was disallowed when the umps declared he didn't score before Betimit was called out.

Two totally missed called again on the same play.

Selig already said he's not interested and most of the players are ok with it. In the end the people who matter are against it.

Someone, I forget who and I don't know if it was on this forum or somewhere but it was suggested that managers should get challenge flags like in football. The game is long enough so I mean who gives a shit about adding another 10 minutes to review something. I'm not sure what the penalty should be if the call is not overturned or w/e but it is something to consider. I wouldn't mind having an instant replay or a challenge being available.

Instant replay is long overdue......Look at the no hitter that was blown....Give each team 2 challenges per game.

I wouldn't apply this to ball or strike calls.....Just calls on the bases and home runs.

They need to give the managers a couple of challenges like they do in the NFL and they need to have an umpire up in the booth to review the play quickly and make a ruling.

The way it is now when the umps review a homerun call, it takes too long as all these lard asses run off the field down to the video room to review the play and then run their fat asses back up onto the field.

AND YET ANOTHER BLOWN CALL.

Play at the plate, fat PoS HPU Cooper out of shape, blows calls at the plate, because he's out of position.

These guys need to be fired.

Also, play at the plate where Posada didn't tag the runner yet he was called out... I'm on the Royals ML +285 and should NOT be losing...

Later in the game, the Yankees struck a guy out with 1 out and the Royals pulled off a double steal, 3rd and 2nd base, problem was the guy was out at 3rd base, but was called safe, the Royals got another chance, but blew it, it should have been a strike em out throw em out to end the inning
