with you tony in this 1. philis has not win more than 7 home games in a row in july since 1972..in general philis after win 7 games at home are 1-6 in the last 30 years..............

i am shopping for a good rox 1st 5 price...Blanton is awful in the 1st inning...6 era in the 1st...4.8 era in the 2nd...

So I am with you Zeke...on the 4-5 runs!

Lol- Rockies are a nice play here- but man those dumb streaks are hardly relevant... There's far better evidence than some streak dating back to 1972... Most the starters for both tes today were not even born then- let alone on these teams...

I wanna fade Blanton and take COL too, but there are a few trends that really bother me:


  • Rockies are 0-7 in their last 7 road games vs. a right-handed starter.
  • Rockies are 0-5 in their last 5 overall.
  • Rockies are 0-7 in their last 7 games vs. a right-handed starter.
  • Rockies are 2-5 in Hammels last 7 road starts.
  • Rockies are 2-5 in Hammels last 7 road starts vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Rockies are 1-4 in Hammels last 5 starts vs. National League East.

trends can be important...but in this case...I really like the way the Rox matchup against Blanton...& Would throw the trends out...

I like the way Tracy setup his club today against a pitcher that has been throwing hangers & cookies... Blanton has been just terrible...

& think they get it done this afternoon...
