One of my books has a really bad line up on a game, i figured like most books if you inform them about it and save them the trouble of dealing with the mess up, they toss you a Bonus Play or something, well this book gives you nothing. So no real motivation to help them out, so I guess the question becomes do you bet the bad line and see what happens?

Do you mean if the line posted is a mistake? No, I would never bet into that.

Of course you bet it. You warned them so it's all their fault if they don't take down the line you warned them about. You take the chance that you're going to win, and they may never notice the mistake and pay you. You're not taking a shot if you notified them first.

2 years ago i'd of said hammer it. But I've learned a lot over the past years mainly in part to members here at TheRx. So now i'd say, stay away from it. If you made them aware of a bad line, and they weren't appreciative of the fact. Then maybe your dealing with the wrong book. Though most of us are degenerates, we're still Respected degenerates haha.

Nothing good can come from betting it. Telling them about it is the right thing to do even if they don't give u squat. It helps in the karma dept. Also looking at the big picture u want to help the book sorta you don't want them to go under or anything with your money there.

never bet the bad line....Most places will offer you a comp play as a nice gesture. But if they don't no big deal...when you do the right thing.
