Bet to win the game

Ted how long until the 5* play gets unveiled?

@) You'll have to wait until football season. At the beginning of the MLB season, I was too aggressive the first 18 plays. Since making all plays 1*, my record is (60-35)(+23.59)(63.15%). I can't do better then that. Feel free to up your dollar amount per play if you feel that I will continue, but as far as posting, all plays will remain 1* for the entire season and likely post season as well. Best of luck to you! :toast:

You have been on a roll my man! Hopefully you hit that one you have in..... if you don't mind me asking as someone who hates playing unders and therefore really don't like playing an under that low, would you like to give some analysis behind the pick? As someone who respects your plays, I'd love to hear it if you've got it! Best of luck to you:toast:

Ok Ted I need something to kick my game up a notch as I have been running moderately cool for the last couple weeks. You are running very hot so I challenge you to a "Royal Rumble Slug fest" lasting one week starting today (Thurs) until next thurs games are over. 3 picks a day and anything over (i dont know you decide) -190 the RL has to be played. Totals wins takes the belt! What you say "Old Man"?...

When looking to play Under the total in MLB, I review the current form of both pitchers. In the case of this game, Dodger pitcher Padilla is 3-1 with a 1.04 ERA in his last 5 starts, has an 0.98 ERA in July with 4 starts, 27.2 innings pitched, 15 hits, 4 runs allowed, 3 earned runs, 2 home runs, 6 walks and 22 strikeouts while holding his opposition to a .161 batting average. Meanwhile, Padres pitcher Matos is 4-0 since June 22 with a 0.80 ERA, has a 0.86 ERA in July with 3 starts, 21.0 innings pitched, 16 hits, 2 runs allowed, 2 earned runs, 2 home runs, 4 walks and 22 strikeouts while holding his opposition to a .205 batting average.

Both of these pitchers go deep into games, while not allowing many base runners via the walk, strikeout a significant number of batters per game and hold the opponents average extremely low. Both teams have quality late inning relief. Add all this up and if they pitch true to form, this should end up a pitcher's duel IMHO, particularly as this is an unusual starting time of 3:35 PDT with two teams that don't score a lot of runs.

Hope that helps you a bit! Best of luck to you today! :toast:

Well, "Young Man", I have been in this business for over 40 years with one objective and that is to make money. When I handicap each days card in any sport, I have no predetermined number of plays unless I am in a significant tournament for money that has rules stipulating a certain number of plays are required. This year in MLB, I have had 0 plays on some days to one day having 5 plays. No disrespect intended but I am not here to have a one week challenge with any of our posters but to provide them with my very best handicapping. Our competition is not with each other but the bookmakers and never forget that. I wish you the very best and hope you begin to heat up but as for the challenge, I am simply not interested. Best of luck to you. :toast:

No question Latos has been sharp but don't underestimate Padilla (reference my comments above). If it plays to form, this one should be a beauty IMHO. Best of luck with the Padres today! :toast:
