You have to be kidding me.

The Heat are a virtual lock to win it all now.

Guy was real helpful for us winning our title in '08

MIAMI (AP)—Eddie House’s agent says the veteran guard has agreed to terms on a $2.8 million, two-year contract with the Miami Heat.

Agent Mark Bartelstein said Thursday that the second year is a player option.

House was a second-round draft pick by the Heat in 2000 and spent his first three NBA seasons with them. He has since played for eight other teams, including Boston and New York last season, when he averaged 7.0 points in 68 games off the bench.

His career average is 7.6 points, and he’s a 39-percent shooter from 3-point range, with a reputation for making clutch baskets.

House will be a strong contender for a reserve role as part of the Heat’s supporting cast for Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

Eddie House isn't exactly known for his defensive play. Still don't think the Heat win the Eastern Conference. You can have a lot of shooters but there is only one basketball. Shooters can go into slumps. Lock down defense can always be played and the Heat aren't adding any defenders.

Another shooter. I don't really get it. They still seem awfully thin in the middle. Chris Bosh is not a center. They don't have any bangers. Ilgauskas? I dunno man. It's gonna be interesting.

I got Heat -120 with carolinawins on this board already. Tried to get more with OMT and some others but I think they just don't like MIami and understand they're gonna kill people.

Miller, Haslem, House, Z for roleplayers now is solid...Not a murderer's row but when you got 2 top 5 guys and another top 15 guy it shouldn't matter much.

It would take Phil Jackson to wrangle all this talent to its potential. Sadly, the Heat don't have him as a coach so they won't even win the East.
