i was going to post a thread about this....but since u started this....i think its news worthy

raul ibanez hits .700 vs john lannan with 2 home runs......7-10 with 2 HR....

by the way, raul is on the bench with misunderfstood (i wonder why) genius charlie manuel......

thats great, raul , who is hitting .700 off lannan will get as many at bats today vs lannan, as his geriatric, pants-jacked up, senile 46% bodyfat, white haired manager.

is the total fixed? game...how can he justify this decision?

The Nationals believe Lannan lost his confidence before the demotion. His biggest problem was getting left-handed hitters out. They are 28-for-75 (.373) with two home runs and nine RBIs against him this season.
He didn't dominate in the Minors, going 1-4 with a 4.20 ERA for Harrisburg. Lannan allowed five runs in 3 2/3 innings in a 11-1 loss to the Philadelphia to start the season.

lol...lefties hit .373 off him, and he couldnt get them in the minors either......hmmmmmm, heres an idea, we got a lefty who hits bombs and hits .700 off lannan, lets sit him today....whoa re the fucking jackwagons in that meeting that agreed with that decision...

Ibanez is out of the lineup today because he is day to day with a sore wrist. In last nights game he attempted at a diving catch in left field and landed awkwardly on his wrist.

Todays lineup for the Philles: Rollins SS, Polanco 3B, Werth CF, Howard 1B, Francisco LF, Brown RF, Ruiz C, Valdez 2B, Hamels P.

Howard resting makes no sense? He never gets a day off, he deserves it after how well he's been playing over the past few weeks. Brad Lidge is the only reason to question the Phillies right now.....

i provided howard .180 vs lannan for a reason.....iw as suggesting today would have been a better day to rest him....do u read peoples posts? or simply fire based on what u thought they said....i didnt say no day off ever, i said, simply one day later......especially daygame after nite vs a pitcher he hits .180 off.....

and no where here did i question the phillies as a pick....i think they win today, and im playing them.....my comments were regarding manuels idiotic decisions at times......do u read at all?

for those of u interested in the intangible reasons as to why your -165 to -180 phils wagers will be graded as losers today , despite haivng such amazing advantages today....u cant look no further than this

please recall its been raining in washington since the early innings and in the top of the 5th, the phils got 2 on base with no out, and this ensued...

Phillies 5th

John Lannan pitching:

Placido Polanco :Ball, Ball, Ball, Strike looking, Foul, Polanco reached on an infield single, Polanco to second on shortstop Desmond throwing error.

Jayson Werth :Ball, Strike looking, Ball, Ball, Werth walked.

Cody Ransom :Ball, Strike swinging, Ball, Foul, Ball, Ransom struck out looking.

cody ransom was a sub for ryan howard in the first.......he has no ego, hes a replacement guy.......hes happy to be playing....its raining, and the game is nearly official.....on deck is ben francisco who was 2-2 with a single and a smashed double and 1 rbi.......

BUNT THE FUCKING RUNNERS TO 2ND AND 3RD CHARLIE MANUEL.......YOUR A FUCKING COUNTRY BUMBPKIN MORON WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT BASEBALL.

instead ransom kd looking on a 3-2 pitch....hes a utility guy, just ask him to bunt.......it was the top of the 5th in the rain.....30 out of 31 managers would bunt here

everyhting that ensued after , franciscos k...the 2 run homer hit by dunn....everyhting coulda been different if this guy coached the strategy part of the baseball game
