My casino host called me on Sunday to say they were accused of "suspicious behavior" and they took them to a drug/alcohol clinic to be tested. They said they have nothing to worry about, as they had no drugs or alcohol in their system.

Seems like they are pulling the usual corporate BS to get rid of someone even though they have a perfect record at the hotel. I've written an email to one of the top guys and told him I thought she was getting railroaded. He wrote back that he couldn't discuss anything, and to stop bothering team members. I wrote back that I wouldn't bother team members, rather than to call my poker buddies, Jerry Buss and Frank Mariani, and have them talk to Ed Roski. Haven't heard back from them since.

This is a good friend of mine and I'm a heavy player at this casino. Any other suggestions that would help her? She's on temporary suspension right now.

not the same, but I gave a casino host basketball tickets to a UConn vs Cuse game so he would help one of my buddies out.

In all seriousness, wait to see how things pan out first. If bad, consider a labor attorney.

casino hosts here at the Hard Rock in South Florida make about 30k/year. Getting fired might be the best thing to happen to her.

she's not telling you the truth. they wouldn't take her for a test unless she had an accident on the job(when it is mandatory to do so) or has been suspected of abusing drugs and/or alcohol on the job.

you don't know what her work record is. you only know her version of it. you helped bury her even further with your email as spi's are confidential and they will now know she can't keep her yapper shut.
