spectacular over his last seven starts, going 4-0 with a 1.55 ERA. He has also dominated Pittsburgh of late with a current 18-inning shutout streak. He is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA this season vs. the Pirates, holding them to a .134 BA.

no rolen in lineup. number has jumped quite a bit. line moves have all worked in the favor of the book in this series.

Only problem is that he sucked big time in his last start against Atlanta. Control and command were both off, but maybe the pirates lineup will let him off the hook. Atlanta put up a 5 spot on him and they were struggling with the bats at the time, take it for what it is.

The current Red roster is 22 for 55 lifetime against Karstens. That's .400 folks, and that's enough of a cross section for me.
Take out Rolen's 1 for 3 against Karstens, they are still about .400.

What sticks out more is the Reds have over 1.100 OPS against Karstens.
That's just off the charts sick.
