What is the "Z" Column on the Handicapper Rankings Page?
The "Z" represents the z-score of each handicapper based on the filter applied. The higher the z-score, the lower the chance that the handicapper reached his record by chance. From the viewpoint of many statisticians, comparing handicappers by their z-scores is the only true means of comparison. A negative z-score indicates that a better would achieve more success by simply picking games at random.
