stammen went 3-2 on each of the first 2 guys and gave up a walk and hit, the 3rd guy smashes a liner to right for sac fly that woulda been a double if not right at fielder
laroche sees some pitches and singles to left.......after the 22 pitches, deep counts, 2 on etc.....montero a lefty vs a righty whos not fooling anyone and has retired one guy on a smash swung at first pitch and collapsed it all......i know they a re pros and the manager/ hitting coach shouldnt have to grab them on the way out of the dugout with instructions like tee ball...but cmon ....if the guy cant be a professional and realize game and situation- he shouldnt be out there.
some pitchers u need to ambush and swing first pitch - it maybe the only hittable pitch u see....thats not true of stammen tonight
