Found tons of things to keep myself busy Ted and I am surprised as anyone I am enjoying this time off. Hey sometimes I confuse myself Ted. I have been busy helping my elderly parents out and I'm finding ways to fill my day. I think I'm going to take about three months off and then try do do something I enjoy. Hey I've been supporting people in this State since I've been 16 and now it's my turn to F off on NY States dime. Don't get me wrong if the right job comes along I'll take it but I am not going to take a job just to take a job.

Don't get me wrong! I really don't have a major issue with collecting unemployment. My concern for you is the longer you wait to search for a quality job, the more difficult it will become to land one because your resume will show the gap in employment. I wouldn't settle for any job just to have one either and can respect that. However, unless you feel that you can live the rest of your life without a job, my recommendation would be to do the things that you want to do right now, but also seriously apply for the kind of work that you want at the same time. My best to you always.

I work 4 ten hour days with Fri, Sat, And Sun off. When I work my 10 hour shift, I come home and I don't leave the house. But, with my 3 days off, i am never home and spend money. I don't even want to think of being off 7 days a week. I would be broke. I would spend more money than I make.
