Burnett scratched

Permalink|Comments (17) Posted by Peter Abraham, Globe Staff August 8, 2010 04:58 PM
A.J. Burnett has been scratched by the Yankees and replaced by Dustin Moseley, the scheduled starter for tomorrow.
No word why as of yet.
UPDATE: Burnett had back spasms yesterday and will not pitch until Tuesday. Phil Hughes will face the Sox tomorrow.
Alex Rodriguez is in the lineup tentatively. They want to see him go through BP first and get a gauge on his left leg. At the moment, he seems to be moving around well enough to play.
