Took the day off on Monday. One play today which should come as no surprise. The Cubs are not the Braves and Dempster is not Jurrjens. Very nice price here IMHO.

Sorry Jordy! As the last post in my Sunday MLB thread, I indicated I would be off Monday and Tuesday, but this particularly play is too good to pass up IMHO so I decided to post it. As for yesterday, I really didn't see anything I cared for anyway, so you didn't miss anything. The oldman has to get some rest once in awhile. @)

Great! I don't think this game will even be close. The free swinging, undisciplined Cub hitters will be unable to take advantage of Lincecum's change up and command of his breaking pitches as well as location with his fastball. Don't be surprised if he throws a complete game shutout. Meanwhile, the Giant hitters will have no such problems hitting Dempster. Believe this game separates and covers the RL easily. You caught me Jordy! I was definitely stressing over last night's game against the Cubs as the Giants put runners in scoring position but kept hitting line drive after line drive right at someone to end the innings but finally pulled it out in the 11th. @)

These 4 games with the Cubs are critical leading into the weekend series with the Padres as the Giants go the next 3 games with Lincecum, Zito, and Cain. A sweep is important as, even though they play the Padres at home, they start Sanchez, Bumgarner and Lincecum, so they need to be right with the Padres when they meet! @)

The PM dealt with this guy who called into our local news talk radio show who went by the name of believe or not "Fatback". His solution to the recent California Legislation was to have the ENTIRE gay and lesbian population of the ENTIRE United States move to your state citing that if California wanted to the example then "they could have them all". Aren't you glad to know indivduals exist like "Fatback" looking out for your best interests. Only here in South Carolina, where we have been having severe problems ever since seceding from the Union in 1861, can such a dumb ass call in a talk show, get on the air and make a complete ass of himself.
