Anyone ever pay their bookie with anything besides cash?

For me not really.

A few times I paid the runner in poker funds transfer (either pokerstars or full tilt).....but they wanted the transfer and paid the cash so i'm not sure if that counts.

One of my friends used to go and collect.....once i remember he came home with an xbox and a tv....i don't know what else they took from the guy's house but that is what he kept

Years ago, a Friend took Bearer Bonds for payment ....But guess that's like taking Cash.

back in 80's paid mine one football season with a chevy el camino. talk about a bad run for a month.

you need to offer things that can be fliped very easily and for a profit because time is money, it would be a hassle to flip a boat and I dont know anyone who would accept that.

lol..... yeah the duvet made me laugh when he offered it but I still use it in the winter its huge and the towels are great everyone in my immediate family has at least 5 of them.

Good friend of mine took all kinds of things over the years; a juke box, slot machine, bronzes and much more.

lol..... it has to be something I can flip easily or use myself and none of those qualify.....maybe the ice trays but they have to be new lol

my friend used to know of places that give cash back on gift certificates....you cannot imagine how many gift certificates were charged and 25 cent gums were purchased for the change

I wish I could've done that.... I sold a couple, donated a couple as a gift at a friends stag party and bought an r9 driver
