In 15/30 at the Bellagio, not a bad beat, met getting out of line and winning..

I was at The Bellagio in 15/30 Limit the other day. A guy limps in, Asian guy next to him raises, I am next, I 3 bet it with 78 hearts. Three way action..Flop comes AA2 one heart. Chech, check, I bet. The limper folds, Asian guy check raises me. I figured maybe he had JJ and wanted to make sure I had an A so I 3 bet him to try to get him to fold. He 4 bets me so I said I guess he has AJ. So I decided to 5 bet him to see if I could get Turn and River free and maybe make my miracle flush. Turn was a heart, check, check. river heart, check, I bet. He calls. I turned over that 78 hearts with great pride! Hahah. He was pretty good about it later.

This is why I have a hard time with limit. It is a completely different game. You played this one a little strange but hey you can't play it the same way all the time.

Do you stay in Vegas or was this on vacation.

I live in Las Vegas most of the year. I play both Limit and No Limit. If I want to "move" chips then it has to be Limit.

I say that to anybody who will listen, totally different animal.
I'll see a flop more often with suited connectors in limit more often than no limit.
I'll bet the snot out of K Q suited from any postion preflop in limit.
