So I was driving my son back to LA to his moms as I do every year after summer break and the Bookmaker for the M was on the radio. He said they had bought the Hard Rock and that they plan on remodeling it into the best sportsbook in vegas. He also said that he plans to bring sharp bettors back into the fold that have gone offshore, and that they were all about hold. He said no wager would be denied. I think this is pretty awesome news! He also said that he plans to have online accounts for bettors by the end of 2011. He said You'd have to come into the casino to create an account to make deposits and withdrawls but you'd be able to place wagers from home.
I can't find any links to this story but I did hear it on the radio last night. Anyone else hear this on the radio last night????
The "M" just might be bringing the good old days back to vegas, as other book will change in order to compete. He said his goal was to get back a lot of the business that offshores have taken, and they expect to increase their hold by 10 times. If anyone can find a link to this story please post it.

August 9, 2010 Cantor Expands to Hard Rock: The Hard Rock entered into an operating agreement with Cantor Gaming to serve as its exclusive race and sports book operator, as is already the case at M Resort. Cantor offers state-of-the-art In-Running technology that allows bets to be placed throughout a game, on numerous different outcomes and with the lines constantly changing, up until the final whistle. They also are behind the suite of proprietary casino games for eDeck, the mobile gaming system that offers casino customers the ability to play casino-style games including slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker within designated areas of the casino property away from the gaming floor.

So they just took over the sports book, it was hard to get the whole story while driving through Victorville on A.M. Radio. But I'm excited about the online accounts cause I'll be able to place a wagor at the M from Reno. This should be exciting news for vegas residents cause now you just have to go to the hard rock to get in on overnight lines. And pllace ingame bets

wasted space is not Massive by any means, but prob 3 or 4 times the size the sportsbook at the hard rock currently is.

Interesting that a casino known for the party/club crowd is now trying to grab some business from the race/sportsbook crowd
