Unrelated to ur pick- as a long time baseball follower was curious about your take on somebody... He may be a baseball guru- but I find Tonylarussa to be one of the easiest figures in sports to dislike- Joe west the umpire is
my number one I'd say....

Would be fun to make a list- there's guys I love even if they oppose my favorite team or a team I bet on like Martin prado, Brian mcann, Adam jones, cliff lee, Adrian Gonzalez, joey votto, Juan uribe, Fred Lewis, howie Kendrick

And guys I dislike- larussa, aj piercynski, Derek lee , Arod, alex rios, Joe torre, George Sherrill, mark Reynolds, matt Albers, Vladimir guerrerro, and just about every San Diego padres relief pitcher

Oooops- not to hog thread- but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my intense burning hatred for Trevor Hoffman-

Honorable mentions to Ryan Braun and Brennan boesch- two of the most unclutch guys in the league... There all done venting

but larussa takes the cake.. He's a bad guy

First of all, let me thank you for watching my back last night. I couldn't have worded a response any better then you did. As for today, glad you like the card and hope that we do meet at the cashier's window tonight! :toast:

This is really interesting. I too can't stand Tony LaRussa. Never have liked the guy at all. I don't think alot about managers or players but I'm sure I could come up with a list as well. You're right. It would be fun to start a two lists. One of players you don't like and one of players you do like. Why don't you start to threads. I'll participate once a scratch my head for recollection.

The game is a toss up to me! Could go either way IMHO. I think neither starter goes deep tonight. 5 to 6 innings and they you're into the pen. It' not a game to play for me.
