What to make of Cards vs. Reds this afternoon?

Arrojo is always good for a 5-10 run barrage which is why I would stay away. Cards look like the play today Wainwright is just plain nasty

My first initial go was the Cards. Been then I started looking at the total and figured a low scoring game. But bats have been hot lately especially for the redbirds. Yeah maybe the safe way to go is behind Wainwright and his low daytime ERA.

tricky, tricky game.

It all depends on the lineup too. If Larussa doesn't screw around and keep the same 8 batters, then Cards should be the play. Arroyo's scorelines are pretty deceiving because he's run into jams, but the Cubs and Braves didn't make him pay for it.

Prior to the Marlins start, I thought Wainwright was just a guy to back at home and fade on the road, but he was really awesome in Florida.

Leaning towards cards but it all depends on Larussa

Cards look good, I think the Reds, well mainly Phillips and his big mouth with low production bat awakened a sleeping giant in the Cardinals. Now the Cardinals will go for the throat and sweep the Reds in Cincy to show the Reds they aren't quite ready to compete with the big boys

the line looks ok, look at Wainwright's #'s vs. the Reds and Arroyo's #'s vs. the Cards, Wainwright has won 1 of his last 5 against the Reds and Arroyo has won 4 of his last 5 against the Cards. Cards are hot right now where the Reds aren't so the lineup is pretty straight IMO.
I'm just betting on the hot and pissed off team here.

Gomes does not carch a foul ball that would have been the 3rd out and then Rasmus hits a grand slam.
