well....
day one was a bit of a disaster, I left Toronto at about 1030am, was supposed to get into Buffalo at 1230, but the bloody border control kept me in the office for over 5 hours.

First it was a 3.5 hour wait to see an Immigration officer, then it was two hours as they questioned me, searched me, xrayed my car etc etc etc.
basically, they were worried that i woudnt come back home to Canada. Finally, after much persuasion, they let me in for 6 months.
Unfortunately, I just made it barely past Akron Ohio, Ive pulled into a small motel to Crash and plan to get on the road very early in the morning.
Will update this thread everytime I find some wifi.
