It's the third time he's been on the DL this season due to some form of the same problem. "The results showed some edema to the soft tissue in the same area, suggesting new trauma from the fall,’’ manager Terry Francona said. The manager added that it's possible Ellsbury could be in line for another extended stay on the DL. It's impossible at this point to predict a timetable for his return, but it certainly seems possible that his season could be in jeopardy. With Mike Cameron still out, the Sox will go with a combo of Eric Patterson, Darnell McDonald, and Ryan Kalish in center field.
