Houston -135 tonight.

Does anyone else have an opinion on this game, I tend to miss things frequently, and I dont want that to happen on a game that I am looking to hit sort of heavy.

Thought Process:

Houston has been hot at home. Winning 3 in a row and 9 of their last 11. The only losses in that span came to Tommy Hanson and Jair Jurrens. Both of which are RHP, versus the LHP they will see tonight.

Houston has hit .321 against LHP in the L10 games.

Wandy Rodriguez has been notoriously good at home in his career. He started poorly this season, but has thrown well against Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Atlanta (All + Line-ups) in his last 3 at home going 22 innings and giving up only 2 ERs.

Mets are only hitting .180 in their last L10 games against LHP.
Mets output (runs scored) this season after finishing a series with the Phillies.
L 2-3 to Reds
L 0-2 to Brewers
W 1-0 to Rockies
That is a total of 3 runs in the 3 games that came directly following a series with the Phillies.

Beltran and Wright have had good success of of Wandy in the past (both over .300), but the table-setters have been horrific. Reyes (1-12) and Castillo (0-11) both have had major issues against him.

While Neise has been EXCELLENT as of late, this is the time of year that I like to start fading rookie pitchers. He has gone 126 innings thus far this year, and gone over 100 pitches a bunch. Coming off a 2 long outings (100+), I think him traveling down to Houston is risky.

Feel free to shoot any holes in this, I would appreciate all information you have.

Thanks!

ICC....I agree with you on this play, but I only played the Astros -108 (1st 5 innings) because I can't trust their bullpen.
