are we talking unlimited type of money or on a budget ?

Wherever it would be somewhere warm and preferably English speaking ( kind of rules out Miami).

San diego county would be within reason if not quite a millionaire.

With multi-millions the choices are endless. living in two different places by season would be ideal if you can pull it off.

Manhattan. Of course it takes a very high income level to make it there, but all the model women and culture of the place and it's surroundings would make it worth it.

Interesting question.

I don't think I'd live in one place. If I had the budget I'd have homes all over the place. I love Monte Carlo & Ibiza (summer on the Mediterranean really can't be beat). I love Paris & Amsterdam in late spring. Skiing the Alps in Winter is a blast, but I also love Hawaii, Vegas, New Orleans & New York City. I'd probably spend a short time at each of those places and base a lot on the expected weather. Never been to China, Japan or Asia in general, so I'd probably spend some time in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore or Thailand and see what's that all about.

With a budget - probably Vanuatu.

If not on a budget, probably either NYC or Barcelona.
But next stop after Munich probably will be Andalusia (Southern Spain) or Costa Rica in 2011 or 2012 depending on my job.
