The players -- three of Favre's closest confidants on the team last season -- were not at practice or morning meetings Tuesday, ESPN has confirmed. The envoy was first reported by the Star Tribune.
It was one year ago Wednesday, Aug. 18, that Favre reported to the Vikings last season.
