If you were opening a business, what is the most convient city? Littleton, Englewood or Denver?

I want something centrally located. My shop here is about 25 miles northeast of Cincinnati.

I have a unquie business that would do well there I believe. I won't have a retail store at first, so I am not worried about walk-in business. I am focusing on weddings. But would like something easy access from the bigger cities around the Denver area.

Thanks

South of Denver has a ton of businesses operations, known as the Denver Tech Center. That might be a good location, a lot of very wealthy people down there.
However, if you are not having much walk in business and its a very small operation, pretty much your options are endless.

Aurora- probably your cheapest bet close to the city, SE of Denver

Thanks Brother.

I will look into that area. It is the wedding cake business. They have a big bridal show in downtown denver and littleton. I notice littleton, Auroa, Engelton are all semi-close to Denver. Most brides don't mind driving a few miles for the consultation, but I would like to be easy access and easy to find.

thanks

Big bet, it depends really. I know of a pretty big/popular bakery in north Denver around arvada known as Das Meyer, so you may want to avoid that area because they seem to have a pretty good link with the city. On the other end of Denver, you have Parker/Aurora/Littleton. But Colo springs is also nice as well as longmont and fort Collins.

It just depends on your style. Fort Collins is a college town that probably equates closest to bowling green where you're from. It has like five micro breweries in the town (fat tire from new Belgium, blue paddle from odells brewery, etc). It's a lot of outdoors people - campers, kayakers, hippies, bike riders, etc. its 40 miles north of Denver.

SE Denver, like parker and the tech center, is really the upscale suburban area of Denver. Homes range from 250k to nuggets players. In Aurora, there are some more affordable neighborhoods, but some of them you get what you pay for. This is where you want to be for high $ clientele in Denver.

Longmont is about 20 miles north of denver. This is a good location for what I think you're going for. It's within easy distances to a lot of areas - boulder, Denver, loveland, greeley, fort Collins, etc. It's fairly priced, not a ton of crime, good shopping/food, easily accessible to I25 and c470.

But yeah, I'd check those out. Let me know if you have any questions.

Boulder and the surrounding metro areas 40 to 60 miles north of Denver pretty much rock steady.

Literally 1/7th of the population is college students at CU which of course means you've got a good market for potential weddings.

Plus, the state legislature in June passed a bill then signed by the Governor which fully legalizes licensed medical marijuana growers and dispensaries. So there will be lots of people with severe munchies looking for good cakes, cookies, ice cream, potato chips, pastries and ice cream.

Thanks Cowboy T. Longmont seems to be what i am looking for.

I'm not to worried about competition, actually, I welcome it. What I do is unique and no one in Denver does it, nor do they to the extent I do here in Cincinnati.

I am planning a trip out to CO. to check out the areas. You just made it a lot easier on me.

Thanks again and if I have any further questions i will be in touch.

BB-If it does happen and you end up in Colorado, let me know if you need any information on the Bridal Shows as Colorado is in my territory and we do every show out there.

On occasion, but usually have more success when we send a young lady to work the booth as they are more approachable I guess. I do the follow ups.

Hit up the Durango area. You will end up getting a lot of business from Northern New Mexico (Aztec/Farmington) as well as the rural towns in the area. Lots of old/big money homes and families live around that area.
