Nice to have you back Ted. Going to need some serious luck to end up a winner tonight. As you may know, I have been on a horrific skid as of late. Hope to turn it around soon though..BOL tomorrow on your selections!

Thank you. Nice to be back. Sorry to hear you have been struggling of late. Dog Days of Summer always tough IMHO. Hope you find that luck the rest of tonight and best of luck the rest of the way. :toast:

Welcome back OMT. I'm on the Cardinals play myself. What do you think of paying the chalk for the Marlins? I was thinking of doing a Cardinals + Marlins early games parlay.

Seems like every August, the MLB board looks just a little tougher. Best of luck to you as well today! :toast:

Glad you like the Cardinals as well! I'm not real keen on the Marlins, but don't let me persuade you off a play that you like. Best of luck either on a straight play or the parlay. :toast:

Glad to see you're on the Padres today, Ted. I think, haha...

I'm on the fence about them since I've actually played SD three days in a row (and fortunately won them all). I try not to stay on the same team for too long since baseball is the ultimate "what goes up must come down" sport. They are in a good spot here though...Richard has looked good more often than not lately, and the Cubs are starting a guy who has only made relief appearances this season (and hasn't looked good doing so).

Any thoughts on Tex-TB? The Rangers suck against the AL East (and the Rays are an MLB-best 26-13 against lefties). But Shields has been pretty sorry lately too...think there could be value in Texas avoiding the sweep...

Interesting comment about your approach to whether you should or shouldn't play on the Padres. For your interest, one of the fundamental principles in wagering is to ride a team on a streak, either winning or losing, for as long as possible as you can win many times and lose only once.

Now, as to the Texas/Tampa Bay game, it really is a pass for me. Just didn't see enough of an edge to make it a play, but please don't let me persuade you to get off a play that you may feel strongly about as I really have no real opinion on the game. Best of luck whatever you decide to do today! :toast:

Good luck ted! I took 2 weeks off myself after getting my ass handed to me. Took the cards last night and amazes me they could only post up 2 runs off of bush. Brewcrew lineup is healthy and dangerous now. U worried at all that the whole public will be on the cards this afternoon? Twist my arm ted haha
