in pittsburgh, we just got a new casino (5 weeks old). anyways my one friend has been going up here about twice a week for a few hours each hours afternoon. he has a job that he can pretty much work around when hes not on the road. him and his new fiance just had a baby a few months back. i get that he wants to spend time with the kid, but he REFUSES to tell his fiance where hes been. honestly, hes probably up 3 or 4 thousand since the place opened, which sounds ridiculous for a few hours a week, buts its the truth. i could see not telling her if you got your head beat in, but hes winning like crazy and says "she doesnt need to know where im at." i think that she would be more upset if she found out he was lying about his day trips. the baby is no issue during the day, both sets of grandparents live within a few miles of their house and im sure love spending time with their grandchild. the fiance has sort of a negative image of gambling, but she knows he does it pretty frequently and wants to marry him anyways. she works till about 5 or 6 at night, so its not even like hes spending time there when he could be with her. it just feels dumb cuz when im around them i wanna bring it up but im "not allowed to"@)
im gonna respect his wishes, but am i way off base for thinking this is a ridiculous thing to keep from your fiance? just seems like keeping this secret would do more harm then good in the end.
