1. For those who lived in the US and then moved to another country, who enjoys life more?

2. Do you think people in other countries enjoy life more than US residents?

1. I'll put it this way. I'm Canadian & after spending my first 2 months in Thailand,
i couldn't wait to get back to the latter when it was over. And kept returning over
and over again for years for 6 months at a time. I'd have moved there if i could
have. But now i'm content to stay in the cuntry of my birth.

2. They don't call it LOS for nothing.

It´s a trade off.....

I know I enjoy life more in other countries...been doing it for over 25 years now....

USA is still number one with me, we still have the advantages of coming and going most everywhere in the world....I couldn´t have done this being married....I enjoy my visits to the States nowadays...

I moved to Toronto many years ago, I've lived in a few U.S. cities san jose being my favorite but canada is much better imo just health care alone is a huge plus but the winters suck at least toronto gets very little snow compared to cities like buffalo.

This is not true for all overseas locations. In England, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Scotland and on and on it's just the same as the U.S. as far as possessions goes.

Others don't care because they don't have any to begin with. Look, at the end of the day, everyone hates the U.S. but they still want to live there more than anywhere else.

I believe my life to be better living offshore, but there is a trade off..All my buddies in the states are having tough times, and it seems tougher for them all the time..My life is a straight line on a graph, and my quality of life is wonderful..More and more people are looking for alternate lifestyles, and the present administrations policies arent helping the matter..

Ive travelled to many of the poorest countries on earth, and the reality is, I often see more smiling faces there than you do in big cities like New York or Toronto.

It really depends on the person and the location of the US you live it. With the exception of maybe Europe, most other countries don't have the standard of living the US has. If you like a nice house and a care and lots of room than it's hard to beat the US.

On the other hand, some places in the US can be rather stuffy people-wise. I've found most places outside the US to be more friendly and family-oriented. If that's more important than a good standard of living then maybe you would be happier in a place such as that.

Thailand is the place to be. Simply put!
The kindest women in the world live there, not to mention some of the most attractive.
There is no need to learn the language, although it can be frustrating to not know it at times.
You are very close to to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world for prices that are laughable.
You cannot buy property , but you can buy a condo. Other options include service apartments and hotels, all for a song.
You are near some of the most beautiful counties in the world, such as Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia etc for weeknd jaunts.
I can't tell you how many people I have met in Thailand that went back to the USA jsut to sell their stuff and get back Asia.
